EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS TO GET STARTED IN THE REAL ESTATE APPRAISAL PROFESSION: Wyoming's Real Estate Appraisal License Law - Chapter 39.  Here is the link to course hours requirements. 

Trainee Requirements:

• Trainee Qualification Process
• Trainee State Exam application
• Trainee Training necessary to become certified.

Certified General Appraiser:

• Hold a Bachelors degree or higher
• Plus 300 hours of Appraiser Education
• Plus 3,000 hours of experience

Certified Residential Appraiser:

• Hold an Associates degree or higher
• Plus 200 hours of Appraiser Education
• Plus 2,500 hours of experience
